This year Fountain has been operating as a type foundry for 15 years. To celebrate this we decided to make some changes.
Fountain is proud to announce the launch of our new website, a brand new OpenType library and the release of 4 new typefaces.
You who know me, know that I don't usually follow sports (except maybe for the last games in the world series or something). Apparently Gothenburg's team just won "Somethingsomething-Golden Cup".
All the best to them, I say. This screenshot from the evening paper goes beyond anything I've ever seen before in the terms of press photo. Clearly inspired by "Pierre et Gilles". So many directions, so many layers. Lovely.
Eight years ago I was employed.
It was not fun.
But I had some fun co-workers.
One day while having a bore we came up with an idea – "Let's make a dance movie!"
And so we did.
We named the film "Street Feet".
This is your chance to see me and Linus do the dance of the river.
The movie was filmed and edited by Christian S.
The reason for this blog screening is another Christian S.(let's call him Christian 2) – who has been nagging me about seeing this film once again.
It's been warm here in Sweden - unusually warm. And humid. So we sleep each night with our windows open. Last week something strange happened. Around 3-4 in the morning I wake up a bit bewildered. Had I heard something? Was there a movement?
I look to my left, over the body of my dear sleeping wife, into the living room and I see something floating in the air, making a strange noise. I rush up to look closer, but there's nothing there. I thought I saw a big dove, but maybe it was just me being half awake, half dreaming. I looked out the window onto the balcony, but nothing there either. I finally fell back to sleep. I wake up the next morning speculating if it was actually something I saw for real. My family didn't really believe me when I told them.
No, there was no message from the dove, and a few days ago Lotta told me she had found some bird droppings by our sideboard. So I guess that settles it – there was a dove in the apartement, it got scared when I woke up and flew away. But I can't stop thinking there's a message for me, and it's out there flapping it's wings, spreading its gospel.
Now – besides from the (b) being upside-down/reversed in example "B" – what's the difference? Could anybody help me?
It's driving me insane! Is there something that I don't see? Something very, very simple that escapes my eyes?
The paper also states that there could be irreversable damages if connected the wrong way. So now I could be in deep trouble...
