Checking out the cooking description on the rice package from local brand Coop, I noticed something weird.
The description is printed for each of the nordic countries (Iceland excluded), and for some reason the amount of water used is different depending on in which country you live in. For example on one package it states that in Sweden you need 6 dl water to cook 240g rice, in Denmark – just across the water – they only need 4,5 dl. Amazing how much water the danes much be saving.
